January 2nd is the official birthday of the Crèche, having opened in January 2008; it has grown from strength to strength thanks to the support of all the dogs who regularly attend (and their owners). A special tea party is arranged each year to celebrate this fantastic anniversary.
Valentine’s day, why should our dogs miss out on the most romantic day of the year after all they have their canine pals and friends, such as Hector and Betsy. Each year the dogs make cards to send to their sweetheart.
March - Mothering Sunday
Although not officially their mothers each dog sends their female owner a card on this special day.
Egg hunts, games and much more are arranged for this festive event, all the dogs go home with an egg and card to open on Easter Day, well the owners can not share their Easter Egg’s so the dog’s have special one’s of their own!
For more on this annual event check out the Events Page, there’s loads to do from agility, to games and stalls.
June - Fathers Day
We can not forget the men in the household, so the dogs make and send their male owners a card.
Last year the dogs made cards for their male owners (some owners would say
Dad's), designs varied depending on the day they were made and which member
of staff was working. However, all the dogs lovingly signed their own paw
print in side.
Aggie's owner Chris can be seen here receiving his card.
Happy Father's Day Dad!

I thought it was a brilliant idea for the dogs to make Fathers day cards at crèche, Aggie is such a big part of the family. I think she could be the next Picasso!
October - Halloween
Spooky Night activities for dogs and owners which include a Fancy Dress, Musical Zombies, Sleeping Vampires, Graveyard Hunt, Batty Bats and much more.

Everyone goes to a Christmas party so why forget our dogs, arranged during day care hours owners are invited to drop off their dogs so they can join in the festive spirit by playing lots of party games followed by a wonderful doggy Christmas dinner and each dog goes home with a present to put under the tree for Christmas day.

The crèche also has a post box for each dog to bring in cards they want to send to their canine pals!
