When you first register with the crèche we will take all your dogs details including feeding regime, daily exercise, health records including copies of vaccination certificate, dates of worming and flea treatment, the veterinary practice that your dog is registered with and emergency contact details. An individual day care plan will be devised taking into account your dog’s age, level of fitness, state of health and your particular requests. We generally ask you to feed your dog before bringing him or her into the crèche and then again on your return home, where a puppy or elderly dog requires a feed during the day we like you to bring his/her own food in. This stops upset tummies. Basic coat care and daily brushing can be arranged where required.
This helps keep the dogs stimulated and busy. This helps then channel their innate sense of smell. Once they have sniffed out the treat they then get the ultimate reward – eating the treat. All the dogs love this activity and with enough treats to go around there are rarely any squabbles.
All dogs love to either play in water or to dig. With the sandpit and paddling pool the dogs are allowed to exhibit natural behaviours which some owners may find unacceptable or inappropriate at home.

We have such a wide range in toys that dogs will never get bored. We have toys ranging from tennis balls to footballs, Soft squeakys to hard rubber chews and a big selection of knotted tug ropes. With our toys ranging from small to medium to large no dog is ever left without the opportunity to play with a toy of it’s choice

The ultimate activity! The dogs (and staff) love paw painting. Each dog dips a paw into a pot of non-toxic paint then hey presto they are off, using a rainbow of colours the end result is fantastic – even if it makes a real mess – after all the staff have to clean up not the dogs. All the art either goes on our walls, made into cards for special occasions or taken home.

All dogs love attention! Throughout their day each dogs receives loads of loving attention from our caring staff as well as that extra bit when they really need it.
Listening to classical music, different sounds and sniffing a variety of scents helps stimulate and relax your dog.
Towards the end of each day all the dogsare encouraged to settle around a crèche carer who reads a story to them.

Due to the stimulation from all the different activities, constant running around and playing that goes on each day your dog usually goes home completely exhausted, sleeping soundly on their return home giving you piece of mind that your dog really has had a wonderful day!
Many dogs are not equipped to deal with the stress of being kennelled whilst their owners are away from home. 24 hour Care provides a very nice alternative to kennels.
Dogs stay overnight with a member of staff at the crèche during which time your dog will have free access to the entire building until bedtime (10-11pm) when they will be settled in their own warm, cosy bedroom, fit for a princess or prince. Next morning it’s an early start as they have to be up and ready for the other dogs being dropped off, hence after getting up and having an opportunity to go to the toilet they are given free access whilst their bed is made before having breakfast.
